the map is not the territory...but it's pretty handy!

I'd heard about a few nifty Google local/geodata hacks, but hadn't seen a nice collected list in a while. We've all seen the Cheap Gas map and some of its siblings, but things like the Google Sightseeing blog are darn nifty. Deliberately Heisenbergian art, based on the Eye in the Sky. Cool.
